Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson suffered a “mid-foot sprain” and is considered week-to-week after an MRI confirmed the injury, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Carson left Sunday’s Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals in the first half and did not return. The starting running back could miss important games against the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams.
The 26-year-old has 323 rushing yards and three touchdowns along with 22 receptions for 147 yards and three touchdowns this season. Carlos Hyde will likely step in for Carson after signing a one-year, $2.75 million this past off-season.
