The Texans' top receiving target could be back sooner rather than later.
Houston has designated star wide receiver Nico Collins to return to practice from injured reserve, according to ESPN's Adam Shefter. Collins was seen at Texans practice on Friday.
the fourth-year pro has missed the last four games due to a hamstring strain.
The Texans have gone 2-2 in Collins' absence and especially missed the wideout in a the team's most recent 27-13 loss to the New York Jets.
Collins has averaged 113.4 yards per game in five contests this season with whopping 17.7 yards-per-reception and 12.6 yards-per-target figures.
The Texans (6-3) take on the red-hot Detroit Lions (7-1) at home on Sunday.
