The Buffalo Bills continue to add to their wide receivers room after losing Josh Allen's top two pass-catchers from 2023 this off-season.
Buffalo announced the signing of former Kansas City Chiefs receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on Tuesday.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that it is a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, including a $1.125-million signing bonus.
The Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and lost Gabe Davis to the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency this off-season.
Valdes-Scantling had 21 catches for 315 yards for the Chiefs last season and added a touchdown reception in Kansas City's Super Bowl win.
The Green Bay Packers picked Valdes-Scantling in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He played four years for Green Bay and two for K.C.
The Bills used their top draft pick (33rd overall) on receiver Keon Coleman and signed veteran receiver Curtis Samuel in free agency. The Bills also have a pass-catching tight end coming off a strong first season in Dalton Kinkaid and an emerging slot receiver in Khalil Shakir.
