Free agent cornerback J.C. Jackson has agreed to a five-year, $82.5-million contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, according to reports by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jackson's new deal will reportedly include $40 million of guaranteed money.
The 2021 Pro Bowler has spent the last four seasons with the New England Patriots.
He picked up eight interceptions in 17 games last season including his first-ever NFL touchdown during a 24-6 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
