In the wake of Nick Chubb's season-ending injury, the Cleveland Browns could be reuniting with a familiar face.
According to multiple reports, running back Kareem Hunt is visiting the Browns on Tuesday.
Hunt spent the past four seasons with the Browns as the primary backup to Chubb. After his contract expired, the 28-year-old running back did not sign with a team this off-season and is a free agent.
A reunion could now be on the table after Chubb suffered a devasting leg injury Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers that will keep him out for the remainder of the season.
Hunt has rushed for 4,025 yards and 31 touchdowns over six seasons with the Browns and Kansas City Chiefs. He was also suspended by the NFL for the first eight games in 2019 for off-field behaviour, including shoving and kicking a woman while with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Browns have started the season 1-1 after a loss to the Steelers on Monday.
