The New Orleans Saints say starting quarterback Derek Carr is week-to-week with a sprained AC joint, but are not yet ready to rule him out for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Carr suffered the shoulder injury on Sunday during a loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Carr was ruled out early in the second half as the Packers erased a 17-0 deficit to win 18-17.
Carr was 13-of-18 for 103 yards and a touchdown before he landed hard on his shoulder during a sack.
Jameis Winston replaced Carr.
The Saints (2-1) signed Carr, previously with the Las Vegas Raiders, to a four-year, $150-million deal before this season.
