The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with Pro-Bowler safety Quandre Diggs worth roughly $40 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Diggs was traded to Seattle in October of 2019 and started every game in the two seasons since his arrival in the Seahawks' secondary.
Earning his second Pro-Bowl nod this season, Diggs finished with a career-high 94 total tackles, seven pass deflections, and five interceptions.
Though an ankle injury ended Diggs' season in 2021, Seattle is confident in his post-rehabilitation abilities. Diggs is also well regarded in the locker room as a true leader on the team, with many teammates requesting to stay in the hospital with him after dislocated his ankle.
The signing pairs Diggs in a strong tandem with fellow Seattle safety Jamal Adams, who missed time in 2021 due to a season-ending surgery for a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
