Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was the victim of a shooting on Saturday night and has sustained a minor wound, the team announced Sunday.
The shooting took place in Sanford, Fla., and Dell was taken to and released from hospital. The Texans say Dell is in good spirits.
The rookie wideout had an outstanding 2023 season for Houston, catching 47 balls for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games.
Dell had his rookie season cut short after suffering a broken fibula in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos.
