Two-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce has yet another impressive accolade to add to this resume, though this one unrelated to football: Saturday Night Live host.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end took to the stage at Studio8 on Saturday, joining a relatively modest list of athletes and sports personalities who have hosted the late night sketch-comedy show.
Kelce, seemingly very comfortable on the stage, had the crowd laughing from start to finish and immediately received praise online for his sense of humour across the various skits. His opening monologue featured appearances from his parents as well as his brother, Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce — who even made a quick acting cameo later on in the night.
Here's just a glimpse of some of the reactions on Twitter to Kelce's appearance — it's probably safe to say sports fans are hopeful the NFLer has opened the door to more athletes on SNL moving forward.
