Bengals WR Tee Higgins set to play vs. Commanders

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins is set to make his season debut in the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football.

Higgins said he “feels great” on Friday, according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “Obviously unfortunate with the injury, sat out the first two weeks, but finally ready to get my feet wet this season and ready to go.”

Higgins missed the first two games of the 2024 campaign with a hamstring injury, but returned to practice this week and was left off the Bengals’ Week 3 injury report on Saturday.

The Bengals have started the new season slow with a 0-2 record, dropping their previous games to the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.

Higgins’ 2023 campaign was riddled with injuries as the fifth-year pro played in 12 games and started 11.

Higgins is playing the 2024 season on the franchise tag and is slated to be a free agent afterwards.
