A frustrated Tom Brady was caught on camera giving some pointed words to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offensive line near the end of the first half of a sub-par offensive performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
“You’re so much better than the way you’re (expletive) playing,” Brady shouted.
The star quarterback faced heavy pressure from the Steelers for a good chunk of the game en route to a surprising 20-18 loss to a Pittsburgh team that dropped a 38-3 decision against the Buffalo Bills just a week earlier.
“It’s our whole offence,” Brady said. afterward “We have to do a better job in the run game, in the pass game … everyone has to do a better job. Obviously, there’s no position that’s performing at an elite level right now.”
“I think we’re all playing less than we’re capable of and I think we’ve all got to look at ourselves in the mirror and figure out why,” Brady added.
The former Patriots star faced some criticism this week when he attended New England owner Robert Kraft’s wedding in New York on Friday and then met his current team in Pittsburgh.
Bucs coach Todd Bowles denied that was a factor in the team’s shoddy perormance.
Bowles was critical of his team as a whole, however after the Bucs fell to 3-3.
