Eagles WR A.J. Brown out for second straight game with hamstring injury

Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown has been ruled out for a second straight game due to a hamstring injury, the team announced Friday.

The Eagles will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints after losing a close game to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, a game that Brown missed.

The fifth-year pro put on a show in a Week 1 win against the Green Bay Packers, catching five of his 10 targets for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Brown had 106 catches for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns last season for the Eagles and has been one of the top receivers in the NFL since his rookie season with Tennessee in 2019. Brown signed a three-year contract extension in April that included $84 million in guaranteed money.
