Jets quarterback Mike White taken to hospital with rib injury

New York Jets quarterback Mike White was taken to hospital following Sunday’s loss to the Bills due to a rib injury, although head coach Robert Saleh said the decision was precautionary.

White was initially knocked out of the game on a hit from Bills linebacker Matt Milano late in the third quarter. However, he briefly returned early in the fourth before being removed again for Joe Flacco.

White, who has been a bright spot for the Jets since taking over for a struggling Zach Wilson, threw for 268 yards on 27-44 passing in the game before his injury.

Flacco was 1-3 for one yard in his brief appearance.
