Report: Eagles OLB Reddick granted permission to seek trade

Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Haason Reddick has been given permission by the team to seek a trade according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Sunday.

Reddick, 29, has been a force for the Eagles in the two seasons he’s been with them. A two-time pro-bowler, he was fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2022.

He reached double-digit figures in sacks for the fourth consecutive year, tallying 11.0, while picking up 23 quarterback hits and 13 tackles for loss.

The 2022 season was his best as he racked up 16.0 sacks, five forced fumbles and was named a first-team All-Pro.

Reddick was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 and spent four years with the club before signing with the Carolina Panthers in 2021.

Following his one year in Carolina, he signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Eagles.
