Steelers’ Fields questionable vs. Giants with hamstring injury

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields is considered questionable for Monday’s game against the New York Giants due to a hamstring injury, the team announced Sunday.

Fields is currently serving as the backup signal caller after starting the first six games of the season while Russell Wilson was injured. The Steelers went 4-2 in the games Fields started.

Wilson made his Steelers and season debut last week against the New York Jets, coming away with a 37-15 victory.

Running back Cordarelle Patterson was downgraded to out for the matchup against the Giants due to an ankle injury.

The Steelers sit at 5-2 heading into Week 8 and are tied for first in the AFC North division.
