Vikings’ Jefferson reaches 5,000 yards in 52 career games, equals NFL record

Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson continues to put his stamp on the league, as he equalled Lance Alworth’s NFL record and reached 5,000 receiving yards in just his 52nd career game on Thursday.

Jefferson had five catches for 57 yards in the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles to secure the mark.

Odell Beckham Jr. sits third on the list, reaching 5,000 yards in 54 games. Julio Jones is fourth, doing it in 56 games, while Michael Thomas did it in 58 games and rounds out the top five.

The reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year came into the 2023-24 season with 4,825 receiving yards through his first three seasons.

He became the youngest player in NFL history to lead the league in both receptions (128) and yards (1,809) last season.
