The 2022 Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada festival, which was scheduled for Jan. 29, has been postponed due to newly implement COVID-19 restrictions in the province of Ontario.

The festival will be held next year as a result. The decision was made in conjunction with Scotiabank, Sportsnet and the City of Owen Sound.
The national broadcast will continue as planned, which features all seven Canadian NHL teams in action, including a pair of all-Canadian matchups.
