The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Alex Killorn to a four-year, $25-million contract, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
The 33-year-old Halifax native has played his entire 11-year career with the Tampa Bay Lightning, helping the team win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and ’21, along with an appearance in the Cup Final in 2022.
Killorn is coming off a career-high 64-point season (27 goals, 37 assists in 82 games). He added three goals and two assists in six playoff games against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Killorn was the unrestricted free agent with the highest point total in 2022-23.
Killorn has 198 goals and 268 assists for 466 points in 805 career games with the Lightning.
Tampa Bay selected Killorn in the third round (77th overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft after he played a year of prep hockey in Deerfield, Mass. He then went on to play four years of NCAA hockey at Harvard.
