Forward Alexander Radulov is returning to the KHL after signing a two-year contract with Ak Bars Kazan, the league announced Thursday.
The 36-year-old Russian, who has played the last five seasons with the Dallas Stars, became an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday.
Drafted 15th overall by Nashville in 2004, Radulov has 368 points (144 goals and 224 assists) in 524 regular-season games with the Predators, Stars and Montreal Canadiens.
He previously played in the KHL with Ufa Salavat Yulayev and CSKA Moscow.
Radulov had back-to-back 72-point seasons — his most productive — from 2017 to 2019, but those numbers dropped off with just 22 points in 71 games this past year.
