The Anaheim Ducks have signed goaltender Tomas Suchanek to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
Suchanek, 20, signed an AHL deal with the San Diego Gulls earlier this season and has posted a 12-6-3 record with a .919 save percentage and 2.56 goals-against average over 21 games with the Ducks' affiliate.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Prior to joining the Gulls, the six-foot goalie spent two seasons with the WHL's Tri-City Americans, earning a WHL Second All-Star Team nod in 2022-23.
Suchanek served between the pipes for Czechia's run to a silver medal at the 2023 World Junior Championship and was named to the tournament All-Star Team. He played in seven games, finishing with a .938 save percentage and 1.38 goals-against average.
