The Arizona Coyotes have signed Finnish winger Matias Maccelli to a new three-year deal worth $10.275 million, the club announced on Monday.
Maccelli, 22, will earn an average of $3.425 million per season. He was fourth in Calder Trophy voting recently for the NHL's Rookie of the Year award and was a restricted free agent.
The Finn had 11 goals and 49 points in 64 games with the Coyotes this past season, after splitting the prior season between the NHL and AHL Tucson Roadrunners.
