The Toronto Maple Leafs look to be returning to full strength ahead of their much-anticipated opening-round clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Sports Illustrated's David Alter reported that both forward Sam Lafferty and defenceman Erik Gustafsson returned to practice on Sunday.
Lafferty had been away from the team dealing with a personal matter, while Gustafsson missed the Maple Leafs' final three regular season games with an upper-body injury.
Alter also reported that star college prospect Matthew Knies was spotted wearing a grey practice jersey Sunday which is typically worn by extras.
Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers' status for Game 1 against the Vegas Golden Knights is still undecided.
Head coach Rick Bowness said the forward is day-to-day with an upper-body injury after Ehlers didn't skate on Sunday.
"We'll see how he feels tomorrow," Bowness told reporters.
Meanwhile, Ehlers himself seems to be feeling ready to go.
"I’m good to go," Ehlers said. "Personally, for me, there really hasn’t been much concern. I feel ready to go. It’s the playoffs, I want to play.”
Jets forward Kevin Stenlund is also listed as day-to-day.

Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron missed his second straight practice Sunday as he continues to deal with an upper-body injury he suffered in Thursday's clash with the Montreal Canadiens.
On Sunday, Bruins general manager Don Sweeny said Bergeron's status for Game 1 on Monday was still up in the air.
