Looking to bounce back after dropping Game 1 on home ice, the Toronto Maple Leafs will make a change in personnel.
Zach Aston-Reese will make way for Sam Lafferty on the fourth line ahead of Game 2 against the Florida Panthers.
"(Lafferty's) got a lot of pace to his game and we think that can help," said Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe. "We're just looking at keeping him involved."
Lafferty last played in Toronto's 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 5 of their first-round series.
The 28-year-old has one assist in five games for the Maple Leafs in the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Panthers will stick with the same lineup that got them a win in Game 1.
Head coach Paul Maurice cautioned that his team has to reset and start from scratch again if they want to take a 2-0 series lead.
"Not a big, big believer in momentum," Maurice said. "I'm really not. It changes every time the puck drops. [Last game], we make 2-0 and we're probably feeling pretty good about our game, then it's 2-1 and they're rolling. It'll get reestablished the minute puck drops."
