The Colorado Avalanche have swung a third trade ahead of Friday's deadline, adding depth forward Brandon Duhaime from the Minnesota Wild, Sportsnet can confirm.
The Wild receive a third-round pick in 2026 in exchange.
Duhaime, 26, is a third-year right wing who will add size to the Avalanche's bottom six. He has four goals and eight points in 62 games this season.
Duhaime will be an unrestricted free agent this summer when his one-year, $1.1 million contract expires.
On Wednesday, the Avalanche acquired defenceman Sean Walker from the Flyers and centre Casey Mittelstadt from the Sabres. Colorado is third in the Central Division with 83 points, tied with the Winnipeg Jets who hold three games in hand.
