Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog is expected to be out two weeks with a lower-body injury, head coach Jared Bednar announced Sunday.
Landeskog left during the second period in Friday’s 7-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
During the game, the 29-year-old had an assist to extend his point streak to a career-high 10 games in 12:03 of ice time. Landeskog has nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points in 22 games.
Bednar also announced that Nazem Kadri, who’s been out since Dec. 8, will be out of the lineup when the Avalanche play the Florida Panthers on Sunday. He has been sidelined “day-to-day” with a lower-body injury.
