The Colorado Avalanche have started making moves following their playoff exit this past May, signing 26-year-old Jere Innala to a one-year, entry level contract for the 2024-25 season.
Innala has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League with Frolunda during the 2023-24 campaign, registering 16 goals and 12 assists across 42 regular-season games — tied for the team's lead in goals. He continued to find the net in the playoffs, tallying 11 goals in 14 post-season games.
The 5-foot-9, 183 pound forward has represented his country on the international stage on three occasions, capturing a gold medal in 2022 IIHF World Championship, silver in 2021, and most recently suiting up for Finland in 2024, posting five points in eight games. He also competed in the 2018 World Juniors.
