The Chicago Blackhawks have activated goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury from COVID-19 protocols.
Fleury was forced to miss one game for the Blackhawks since entering the league’s protocol. The veteran has a 9-10-1 record for the Blackhawks this season, with a 2.86 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage
Head coach Derek King says Arvid Soderblom will start in net against the Calgary Flames on Sunday and Fleury will back him up.
Chicago also recalled forward Josiah Slavin and assigned forward MacKenzie Entwistle to the taxi squad. They also sent goaltender Collin Delia back to the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs.
