Kirby Dach is back.
Three months after the 20-year-old centre underwent surgery to repair a right wrist fracture he suffered during an exhibition game at the world juniors, forcing him to miss the Blackhawks’ first 34 games, the third pick in the 2019 NHL Draft will make his season debut Saturday against the Nashville Predators.
Dach will slot in on the Blackhawks’ third line between Mattias Janmark and Dylan Strome.
The St. Albert, Alta., native skated in 64 games as a rookie with the Blackhawks last season, registering eight goals and 23 points.
