Blackhawks' Hall makes quick recovery from shoulder injury

Chicago Blackhawks star winger Taylor Hall will be back in the lineup on Monday, completing a quick recovery from a shoulder injury that was initially feared to be much worse.

Hall suffered the injury last Wednesday against the Bruins and head coach Luke Richardson declared him out "week-to-week" after that game. However, Hall was back on the ice Friday and Sunday, and on Monday Richardson declared him good to go for the club's tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 31-year-old ultimately only missed one game, Saturday's loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

The Blackhawks acquired Hall from the Bruins to give phenom Connor Bedard a veteran scorer on his wing. Hall has one assist so far this season.

You can watch Bedard and the Blackhawks face Auston Matthews and the Maple Leafs on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.
