Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane exited Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning with a lower-body injury.
After playing the first 40 minutes, the 34-year-old was not on the bench when the Blackhawks took the ice to start the third period.
Postgame, Chicago head coach Luke Richardson said Kane was being checked out by training staff and was pulled due to a lower-body injury related to the hit he took two days prior vs. the San Jose Sharks.
Heading into Tuesday's contest, Kane had scored seven goals and recorded 20 assists in 36 games played this season.
The Blackhawks fell 4-1 to the Lightning.
