Chicago Blackhawks forward Philipp Kurashev was awarded a two-year contract with a cap hit of $2.25 million via arbitration, the club announced Sunday.
Kurashev, 23, made a league minimum $750,000 last season on a one-year deal with the team. Over 70 games in 2022-23, he had nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points.
Drafted by the Blackhawks in the fourth round (120th overall) at the 2018 NHL Draft, Kurashev has recorded 62 points (23 goals and 39 assists) in 191 career games.
