The Chicago Blackhawks placed forward Adam Gaudette on waivers on Friday afternoon.
Making eight appearances for the Blackhawks this season, the 25-year-old centre has recorded one goal and one assist.
Gaudette, a fifth-round pick (149th overall) of the Vancouver Cancucks at the 2015 NHL Draft, was traded from Vancouver to Chicago on Apr. 12 in exchange for forward Matthew Highmore.
