The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forward Dominik Kubalik to a two-year extension with a $3.7-million cap hit.
Kubalik scored 30 goals and 46 points in 68 games with the Blackhawks this past season, finishing third in Calder Trophy voting.
The 25-year-old was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the seventh round in 2013 but remained overseas. The Blackhawks traded a fifth-round pick for him last season.
