The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed goaltender Cam Johnson to a one-year, two-way deal, the team announced Friday.
According to CapFriendly.com, the deal will pay Johnson $750,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL level.
The 27-year-old was signed as a free agent by Columbus earlier this year on Jan. 9 and served on the team's taxi squad for the majority of the 2020-21 campaign.
Last season, Johnson had a 6-1-0 record with a 1.77 goals-against average, .941 save percentage and two shutouts in seven games with the ECHL's Florida Everblades.
In 32 career AHL games with the Binghamton Devils, he posted a 11-16-5 record with a 3.80 GAA, .873 save percentage and one shutout.
Johnson attended the University of North Dakota and was signed by the New Jersey Devils as free agent in March of 2018.
