Blue Jackets scratch goaltender Joonas Korpisalo for trade-related reasons

The Columbus Blue Jackets have made goaltender Joonas Korpisalo unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Buffalo Sabres due to trade-related reasons.

Korpisalo joins teammate Vladislav Gavrikov who is also being scratched for trade-related reasons.

The native of Pori, Finland is sporting a .913 save percentage and a 3.17 goals-against average on a Blue Jackets team that currently sits 32nd in the NHL.

Korpisalo is on an expiring contract that carries an AAV of $1.3 million, making him an inexpensive option for a team looking to bolster their goaltending tandem ahead of the March 3 trade deadline.
