Blue Jackets sign defenceman Luca Marrelli to three-year, entry-level deal

The Columbus Blue Jackets have locked up one of their prospects for another three years.

Blue Jackets president and general manager Don Waddell announced Wednesday that the team has signed defenceman Luca Marrelli to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Marrelli, 19, has 14 goals and 26 assists in 30 games with the OHL's Oshawa Generals this season.

The Toronto, Ont., native was selected by the Blue Jackets 86th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
