The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Josh Dunne to a two-year, entry level contract, the announced Sunday.
Dunne, 22, will report to Columbus’s AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. Terms of the deal have yet to be released.
Coming off his junior season at Clarkson University, Dunne recorded two goals, five points, 26 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating in 14 outings. In 78 career games with Clarkson, the 22-year-old has posted 29 goals and 55 points, along with 70 penalty minutes and cumulative plus-24 rating.
During the 2019-20 season, Dunne was a Third Team All-ECAC pick and won the league’s Best Defensive Forward award.
The six-foot-four, 210-pound forward attended the Blue Jackets’ development camp in 2019.
