Blues add Vladimir Tarasenko to COVID-19 protocol list

The St. Louis Blues placed top scorer Vladimir Tarasenko plus defencemen Scott Perunovich and Jake Walman in COVID-19 protocol on Thursday.

Tarasenko leads the Blues with 34 points — 14 goals and 20 assists — in 34 games this season.

Perunovich has picked up six assists over 18 games in his rookie season while Walman has one goal and two assists in 18 contests.

Defenceman Robert Bortuzzo, who was placed in protocol Dec. 26, is scheduled to return Thursday.

The Blues (19-10-5) are set to host the Washington Capitals on Friday night.
