The St. Louis Blues centre was handed a $2,248.26 fine, the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement, for a cross-check on Nashville Predators defenceman Nick Blankenburg, the NHL's department of player safety announced Monday.
The incident occurred at 13:32 of the third period of Sunday's game between the two sides. Bolduc cross-checked Blankenburg while the defenceman was down following a collision at centre-ice.
Bolduc was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for the infraction.
