St. Louis Blues defenceman Justin Faulk will not travel with the team for Saturday's road game against the Pittsburgh Penguins due to a lower-body injury.
Faulk was injured during the final minute of Friday's 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche and required help back to the dressing room.
"Right now we're going to leave him behind [in St. Louis] to be evaluated and I guess that's kind of the update I have right now," Blues head coach Drew Bannister told NHL.com after the game. "But he won't be available for us [Saturday]."
Faulk has two goals and 15 assists in 35 games this season.
The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Blues (18-16-1), who are sixth in the Central Division with 37 points.
After visiting the Penguins, the Blues have a few days off before hosting the Vancouver Canucks next Thursday.
