Mackenzie MacEachern is returning to the St. Louis Blues after agreeing to a two-year contract Saturday.
MacEachern was drafted in the third round, 67th overall, by the Blues in 2012 and played with the club for four seasons from 2018 to 2022.
He joined the Carolina Hurricanes as a free agent last year and had one goal and one assist in eight playoff games.
The 29-year-old from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., spent the regular season with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League and recorded 30 points (11 goals and 19 assists) in 37 games.
MacEachern has 19 career points (11 goals and eight assists) in 115 games with the Blues and Hurricanes.
