The St. Louis Blues signed defenceman Robert Bortuzzo and forward Logan Brown to contract extensions, the team announced Tuesday.
Bortuzzo, 32, was signed to a two-year contract extension worth $1.9 million ($950,000 AAV), while Brown, 23, signed a one-way, one-year contract worth $750,000.

The stalwart six-foot-four, 216-pound Bortuzzo has been with the Blues for eight seasons, and in 454 games over 11 total seasons, has 18 goals and 48 assists for 66 points to go with 443 penalty minutes. He has one goal and two assists for three points to go with 24 minutes in penalties over 40 games this season.
Former Ottawa Senators prospect Brown has three goals and three assists for six points and four penalty minutes in 17 games this season. A St. Louis product (and son of former Blue Jeff Brown), the six-foot-six, 218-pound forward has four goals and 11 assists for 15 points to go with 10 penalty minutes in 47 career games.
The Blues also placed defenceman Scott Perunovich on injured reserve with an upper-body injury and recalled forward Dakota Joshua from AHL Springfield.
