The St. Louis Blues have inked former Toronto Maple Leaf Kyle Clifford to a two-year deal, the club announced Sunday.
Clifford’s deal carries an average annual value of $1 million, per the team.
The 29-year-old finished the 2019-20 season with the Maple Leafs after the club acquired him from the Los Angeles Kings in February. Through 10 years and 660 games with the Kings, Clifford posted 60 goals and 129 points, along with 1,449 hits.
He posted a goal and two assists through 16 games as a Maple Leaf, with 49 hits to his name as part of the Canadian club, as well.
According to CapFriendly, the veteran winger’s deal will pay him $700,000 in Year 1 and $1.3 million in Year 2.
