The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Nathan Walker to a one-year, one-way contract extension. The deal is set to kick in for the 2023-24 season.
The Welsh-born Australian split his time between the Blues and AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds last season.
In the NHL, Walker scored a hat trick in his first Blues game of the season and went on to notch eight goals and four assists in 30 games.
In the AHL, the 89th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft picked up 19 goals, 25 assists in 47 games and helped the Thunderbirds reach the 2022 Calder Cup final.
