The St. Louis Blues have signed unrestricted free agent Oskar Sundqvist to a one-year deal worth $775,000.
Sundqvist, 29, previously played for the Blues from 2018-22, recording 35 goals and 83 points in 242 games. His five seasons with the organization were highlighted by a Stanley Cup win in 2019.
The Blues traded Sundqvist to the Detroit Red Wings, who then traded him to the Minnesota Wild this past season. Across his stints with the two teams in 2022-23, Sundqvist recorded 10 goals and 18 assists for a total of 28 points in 67 games.
The Boden, Sweden, native also won the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2017. The Penguins drafted Sundqvist in the third round (87th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
