Vancouver Canucks defencemen Quinn Hughes and Riley Stillman were activated from the injured-reserve list prior to the team's game against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, the team announced.
Hughes, Brock Boeser and Stillman were expected to be game-time decisions Tuesday, coach Bruce Boudreau told reporters earlier.
Boudreau also confirmed that newly acquired defenceman Ethan Bear will make his debut with the Canucks in the game against the Devils.
Boeser, who has been sidelined since Oct. 22 with an undisclosed injury, has four assists in six games this season.
Hughes has been out day-to-day since that same Oct. 22 game, with a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Orlando native has five assists in five games this season.
Stillman suffered what appeared to be a shoulder injury and went down the tunnel to the Canucks' locker room after a fight with Wild forward Brandon Duhaime on Oct. 20.
The 24-year-old arrived with the Canucks ahead of the start of the regular season as part of the package that sent Jason Dickinson to the Chicago Blackhawks.
In 112 career NHL games with the Florida Panthers, Blackhawks and Canucks, Stillman has three goals and 15 assists with 70 penalty minutes.
