Goaltender Michael DiPietro has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Boston Bruins, the team's general manager Don Sweeney announced Monday. The contract is worth $775,000.
During the 2022-23 season, the Amherstburg, Ont. native skated in one AHL game with the Providence Bruins and 29 ECHL games with the Maine Mariners. The 24-year-old has played a total of 75 career AHL games with Providence, the Utica Comets, and the Abbotsford Canucks. He has a career record of 40-25-6-1 and a .906 save percentage.
DiPietro was first drafted 64th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
