The Boston Bruins have signed depth forward Riley Tufte to a one-year contract worth $775,000, the team announced Monday.
Tufte, 26, mostly played with the Colorado Eagles last season, the Avalanche's AHL affiliate. He tallied 23 goals and 22 assists in 67 games.
Standing at 6-foot-6, Tufte marks another large add for the Bruins after they signed Nikita Zadorov.
In 13 NHL appearances split between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche, Tufte has one goal and no assists.
