The Montreal Canadiens will have veteran winger Brendan Gallagher back in the lineup when they host the Ottawa Senators Tuesday night.
Gallagher had missed the past eight games with a lower-body injury. Taylor Pitlick will be a healthy scratch to make room for Gallagher.
Injuries have limited Gallagher to just 43 games this season and he is on pace for his lowest offensive output for his career as a result. In his limited action the 29-year-old has five goals and 14 points.
The Canadiens will have Jake Allen in net once again Tuesday, but Carey Price was a full participant in practice Monday and is still targeting a return to game action this season.
