Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand is being evaluated after he sustained an upper-body injury in Game 3, per head coach Jim Montgomery.
"We'll know more tomorrow," the coach said when asked about Marchand's status after Friday's loss to the Florida Panthers.
The forward did not come out to start the third period, at which point the team declared he was unlikely to return. It's not clear when he sustained the injury.
In the first period, he took a heavy hit from Panthers forward Sam Bennett, which sent him shoulder-first into the boards. He rose slowly from the ice and spoke with trainers on the bench briefly, but returned to the game.
In nine games this post-season, Marchand has three goals and 10 points, including two assists this series.
The Panthers lead the series 2-1.
